Installation and Support Technician for Solar Systems Juuce Energy Manasquan, NJ 08736 • Hybrid work Job Summary We are seeking dedicated and skilled Solar Installers to join our growing team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for the installation of solar energy systems on residential and commercial properties. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, construction practices, and safety protocols. The Solar Installer will work closely with the construction manager, project manager, and other team members to ensure efficient and high-quality installation of solar panels. MUST be able to lift 80+ lbs. Projects are all over NJ and in many other states, traveling to job sites out of state is not required but is a bonus! Duties Install solar photovoltaic (PV) systems on rooftops and ground-mounted structures according to project specifications. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and forklifts safely and effectively during installations. Perform fixture installations, ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards. Conduct site assessments to determine optimal placement for solar panels, considering factors such as sunlight exposure and structural integrity. Assist in the wiring of low voltage and high voltage electrical components as part of the installation process. Collaborate with team members to plumb and build necessary support structures for solar panel installations. Maintain a clean and organized construction site, adhering to all safety regulations. Troubleshoot any issues that arise during installation and provide solutions in a timely manner. Experience Previous experience in solar installation or a related field is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided. Familiarity with NEC guidelines and construction practices is advantageous. Experience using hand tools, power tools, and forklifts is essential. Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are necessary for success in this role.
