Renewable Energy Technician Juuce Energy Manasquan, NJ 08736 Job Summary We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Solar Energy O&M Technician to join our team on a part-time or full-time basis (20-30 hours per week to start). The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of solar energy systems. The candidate should have hands-on experience with inverter and array troubleshooting, including working with SolarEdge, SMA, CPS, and central inverters. You should have successfully completed inverter swaps and be comfortable handling both AC and DC systems. Experience with communication troubleshooting and the ability to diagnose system performance issues using monitoring platforms is essential. Candidates must be proficient in using a laptop and smartphone for system diagnostics and reporting. The role requires someone who is physically capable of lifting up to 80 pounds, dependable, and self-motivated. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems and mechanical components, as well as excellent customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction. The Solar Technician will work both independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality service in a fast-paced environment. Duties Install solar panels and related equipment according to specifications and safety standards. Conduct regular maintenance checks on solar systems to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot and repair solar energy systems, including electrical components and mechanical structures. Utilize power tools. Fabricate necessary components for installations or repairs as needed. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns effectively. Collaborate with team members on large-scale projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards. Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities. Skills Previous experience in the Solar Energy industry. O&M experience is a plus, but onsite training will be provided. Experience in industrial maintenance is preferred. Familiarity with CNC machinery is a plus. Knowledge of Electrical & Instrumentation (E & I) practices is beneficial. Proficiency in using voltmeters and other diagnostic tools for troubleshooting purposes. Ability to fabricate components when necessary for system installations or repairs.
