The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in solar energy systems, and demonstrate leadership capabilities. This role involves ensuring that installations are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Duties Lead and supervise a team of solar installers on various projects, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and project timelines. Coordinate fixture installation and ensure proper setup of solar panels and related equipment. Conduct low voltage and high voltage electrical work as required by project specifications. Oversee construction site activities, ensuring compliance with all regulations and safety standards. Utilize hand tools and equipment effectively for installation tasks, including the operation of forklifts when necessary. Collaborate with project managers to assess project requirements and allocate resources accordingly. Provide training and mentorship to team members on best practices for solar installation techniques. Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the installation process, ensuring timely resolutions. Drive own vehicle to and from Job sites Requirements Proven experience in Roofing, Framing, preferably as a Solar roof lead or in a similar role within the solar industry. Familiarity with construction site operations and safety regulations. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings related to solar installations. Proficiency in using hand tools and operating forklifts safely. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions as needed.
