This position will involve tasks such as prepping the roof or ground mount site; running wires; installing rails and solar panels; connecting meters, inverters, disconnects, panels, and routers; meeting with inspectors; and so much more. Must have a valid driver’s license and live within 40 minutes of the shop. If you are afraid of heights then this is not the job for you. Serious applicants only! What does a Solar PV Installer do? Load the truck and trailer with supplies Travel with the crew to the job site Prep the roof or ground mount site ( Must not be afraid of heights ) Most of our projects are roof mounts. Run wires for the system Install rails and solar panels Attach wire connectors to the panels Connect to the meters, inverter, disconnect, panel, and router Cover and label the equipment Meet with the inspector Test the system and explain/show the customer how to operate Return back to the shop, unload the truck and turn in any paperwork to the office Learn to install grid tied and off grid systems, as well as roof mounted and ground mounted systems Working in different weather conditions. Must have a valid driver’s license Must live no more than 40 minutes from the shop office (Gordonville, PA)

Full-time:

Year-round hours averaging 40-50 hours per week (weather permitting). As a business, you must arrive to work in a timely mannerly to begin work at 6:30AM, and our PM finish time is flexible.

Pay Rate:

$26.00 to $30.00 per hour (depending on experience) A $1,000.00 Sign on bonus paid quarterly after 90 day review
