Base Salary :

Estimated salary for this position is $22 to $25 dollars per hour based on experience The Solar PV Installer L1 is responsible for supporting all aspects of PV project installation. This person supports the Installation Team with array installation including layout, roof attachment, racking and module assembly, combiner box installation, home run wiring, and voltage testing. The Solar Installer is expected to have a basic understanding of construction means and methods, and follow directions to perform installation tasks (both independently or within a team setting.)

Responsibilities:

Must be able to conduct self in a professional manner Setup and maintain all safety protocols Support the assembly and installation of all racking, panel, and system components Support the installation of electrical wiring of solar array (AC and DC) Provide support to project management, sales, and customer service teams as needed Staging and pre-assembly of warehouse inventory for each installation Maintain a clean job site Have basic knowledge of entire install process

Qualifications:

At least 1 years of experience in related construction trade preferred (e.g. solar, roofing, framing, electrical) General understanding of common building materials and techniques Experience and comfort with working on roofs at height Proficient with safety equipment Strong sense of quality workmanship Strong commitment to job site safety and efficiency Some computer proficiency, comfortable with Google and MS Office software Ability to think critically and solve problems quickly and independently Ability to follow direction from the site supervisor Interest in learning and growing in the solar industry OSHA 10 training preferred NABCEP Entry level PV certification preferred

Requirements:

Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. Ability to work in extreme environments Must be able to climb ladders and work on your feet for long periods of time High School diploma or GED required (2 year college degree preferred) Must be able to successfully pass a criminal, driving, and drug screen Must have a valid state driver’s license Frequent overnight travel is required’ ‘
