We are seeking a seasoned Lead Service/O&M Technician with the technical depth and leadership skills to support field operations and supervise a team performing maintenance and troubleshooting for residential (grid-tied and off-grid), commercial/industrial, and utility-scale PV systems. This role requires deep knowledge of a wide range of solar technologies and the ability to lead by example in the field. What We Offer Competitive pay Paid time off and paid holidays Company-paid medical insurance Annual profit sharing 401(k) with company match Professional development and certification opportunities And more Key Responsibilities Supervise and mentor a team of service technicians to ensure quality, safety, and efficiency Diagnose and repair issues across all system components, including inverters, optimizers, charge controllers, and monitoring equipment Perform system testing, fault isolation, and component-level diagnostics Maintain and commission solar PV systems, including monitoring and communication hardware Address grounding, wiring, and code compliance issues in accordance with NEC, OSHA, and industry best practices Interface with customers, project managers, inspectors, and manufacturers in a professional and technically competent manner Clean and inspect PV modules and racking systems Support continuous improvement in field performance and team training Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent At least 2 years of experience in PV system service, maintenance, or installation Proven ability to troubleshoot electrical faults and system performance issues Familiarity with both residential and commercial/utility-scale PV systems Competence with diagnostic tools, hand and power tools, and digital monitoring platforms Strong communication skills and attention to detail Ability to safely work on residential rooftops using ladders and fall protection Preferred Qualifications Technical training or certification in solar or electrical trades
NABCEP PV
