Skilled Tradesman Position Available In Essex, Massachusetts

Skilled Tradesman Cornerstone Construction Company Lynnfield, MA 01940 We are seeking an experienced Skilled Tradesman to join our construction team. This role is ideal for a highly capable, hands-on worker with a deep understanding of various construction trades who can also direct laborers on-site. The right candidate will bring strong skills in framing, tiling, masonry, and general construction, along with the ability to interpret plans and ensure smooth day-to-day site operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform skilled construction work, including: Framing (wood and metal studs) Tiling (floor, wall, backsplash) Masonry (block, brick, stone) Drywall hanging and finishing Light demo, prep, and finish work Lead by example on the job site; guide and direct general laborers and less experienced crew members. Interpret construction drawings and layout tasks accordingly. Ensure proper use of materials and tools; maintain high standards of craftsmanship. Work alongside and coordinate with subcontractors as needed. Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization on the site. Report progress and any issues directly to the Project Manager.

Qualifications:

5+ years of hands-on construction experience in multiple trades. Proficiency in framing, tiling, masonry, and general carpentry. Ability to read and work from blueprints or construction plans. Strong organizational and communication skills. Proven ability to supervise and support job site teams. Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license. Own basic tools preferred. OSHA 10 or 30 certification a plus. English fluency required; bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus. Must work well with others Respectful of the chain of command, takes direction well.

Job site work in all seasons.

Physical labor required:

lifting 50+ lbs, climbing ladders, operating tools. Full-time availability and reliability are essential.
