- Remove and dispose of a washer/dryer combo unit (located on the second floor of a walk-up).
- The unit is installed under a granite countertop, with only about 1/2 inch of clearance above and around it.
- It is positioned on hardwood floors, so care must be taken to avoid scratching the flooring or damaging the granite countertop during removal.
- Disconnect and cap off the washer’s connection to the nearby sink drain and garbage disposal.
