The ideal candidate will have a strong background in masonry and construction, with the ability to work effectively with various materials and tools. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to follow blueprints and schematics to create durable structures. The Mason will be responsible for building, repairing, and restoring walls, floors, and other structures using bricks, concrete blocks, and other materials. Duties Construct and repair walls, floors, and other structures using masonry materials such as bricks, stones, and concrete blocks. Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and laying materials. Perform trim carpentry and frame carpentry tasks as needed to support masonry work. Execute metal stud framing for interior walls when required. Apply caulking to seal joints and gaps in masonry work for improved durability. Lay tiles accurately for flooring or wall applications, ensuring proper alignment and spacing. Read and interpret schematics to ensure compliance with design specifications. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while maintaining high-quality standards. Restore existing masonry structures by repairing cracks or replacing damaged materials. Experience Proven experience in masonry or related construction fields is essential. Familiarity with power tools is required; experience with trim carpentry, frame carpentry, metal stud framing, caulking, tile laying, and restoration techniques is highly desirable. Ability to read schematics and blueprints effectively is a must. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are critical for success in this role.
