Hardscape Team Member Carpenter & Costin Pittsford, VT 05763 Our company is a leader in the field of landscape construction, specializing in the creation of stunning outdoor spaces. We are currently seeking a Hardscape team member to join our team. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the construction of paver patios, retaining walls, and planting installations. During winter months, you may also be involved in snow removal tasks. We offer a supportive work environment where your skills will be put to good use and valued. Responsibilities Construction and installation of paver patios and stone or block retaining walls. Understanding and applying knowledge of elevations in executing construction plans. Proficient operation of a variety of mechanical equipment and vehicles such as dump trucks and truck and trailer combinations. Completing necessary paperwork including time-entry of jobs and materials Planning and organizing jobs, ensuring sufficient resources and materials are available and jobs are completed efficiently. Maintaining a clean and safe work environment, including work site and equipment. Assisting with snow removal during the winter months as needed. Maintaining assigned equipment and notifying mechanic of needed repairs. Qualifications At least 2-4 years of masonry hardscape and landscape installation experience Ability communicate effectively with coworkers and clients. Experience with retaining wall, walkway, raised patio, and outdoor kitchen installation. Veneer work skills are a plus. Ability to operate and use all landscape tools & equipment effectively. Snow removal experience preferred. Valid driver’s license. Compensation The salary for this full-time position ranges from $20.00 to $25.00 per hour .
