Field Assistant Building Performance Solution Sarasota, FL 34240 Overview Field Assistant At Building Performance Solutions, we are Building Science Consultants. We evaluate homes and commercial buildings as integrated systems with the goal of enhancing Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ) and occupant comfort and safety. We achieve this through a variety of testing methodologies, including Indoor Air Quality testing, Traditional Mold Sampling, ERMI testing, Bacteria testing, VOC testing, and much more. We also specialize in consulting for homes with construction and HVAC design issues, helping homeowners address and rectify deficiencies.

As a Field Assistant at Building Performance Solutions, you will be a key asset in helping our clients with Building Forensics Consulting and Indoor Air Quality testing. You will be spending your day in the field with our Lead Assessor. No Experience? No Problem! We provide full training, so no prior experience in air quality or mold testing is necessary. If you have a great attitude, are eager to learn, and enjoy working in a hands-on role, we want to hear from you! Key responsibilities include assisting the lead assessor in the field at appointments including the equipment setup, photo documentation, notetaking, laboratory documentation, visual inspection, moisture readings, particulate counts, and more.
Required Qualifications:
Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying conditions Strong communication and teamwork skills Possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and move comfortably throughout job sites
Ideal Qualifications:
