- Lead, supervise, and support direct reports, including the Weatherization assistant, grants specialist, contract auditors, and contractors.
- Conduct performance evaluations in line with agency policy at least annually.
- Establish and maintain a positive, healthy, and safe work environment in accordance with policies and regulations.
- Recruit, interview, and select staff with the appropriate technical and personal abilities to help further the mission of the organization.
- Ensure direct reports receive agency and job orientation and that appropriate training is provided.
- Coach, mentor, and empower staff as appropriate.
- Discipline staff when necessary, using appropriate techniques; release staff when necessary, using appropriate procedures.
- Provide backup or coordinate backup for staff in their absence.
- Encourage and model healthy self-care practices.

- Read, review, and implement compliance measures in alignment with all applicable laws, regulations, and procurement standards. - Coordinate with THDA and local governments to plan and implement new housing repair services that meet the unique needs of rural communities.

- Effectively present SETHRA home repair and weatherization information to staff, board, and other public groups as scheduled and as requested by local government, partnering agencies, and the SETHRA Board of Directors.
Grant Writing

- Ability to become certified as a BPI Energy Auditor and Quality Control Inspector within first year of employment.
- Ability to become certified as a THDA Rehabilitation Coordinator within first year of employment.

Work Environment This position operates in a professional office environment and in a SETHRA owned vehicle work environment which include variations of outside weather conditions. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. This position will require work in the field in client homes on an infrequent basis. This position will require public speaking engagements. Physical Demands The position operates in an office and a mobile environment. The position requires ability to lift 25lbs. The position may require infrequent supervision of close quarters inspection in client homes. The position may require infrequent supervision of areas requiring use of a ladder. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. but hours may vary depending on travel to counties.
