Position Purpose:
Oversees the change management process, release of updates to technical systems, including developing release schedules, provides support during the technical release process, and ensures that production systems are functional following a successful release. Supports the deployment of the code to the test and production environments. Leads small projects Aids with the coordination, planning, scheduling, control, and implementation of change and/or releases from initiation through delivery and support Reviews submitted change requests for compliance, accuracy, and completeness Supports the IT change and release manager with the setup of change management in the IT Service Management (ITSM) tool and adoption of improved process Provides communication and information, including relevant release reports and documentation as required Ensures compliance by validating the appropriate checkpoints are met; coordinate release sign off between the various stage gates in the release cycle Carries out regular reviews of the change and release management processes with the IT change and release manager; regularly identify and recommend service improvements Monitors efficiency and effectiveness by providing management information on releases to senior management as required Assists the IT change and release manager in completing regular audits of the change and release management process Analyzes incident logs caused by releases to identify occasions where the process has not been followed; highlight any repeated non-compliance and ensure timely resolution/escalation Contributes to the IT risk register (working closely with the information security team) to identify and manage operational risks and work to eliminate areas of vulnerability Performs other duties as assigned Complies with all policies and standards
Education/Experience:
A Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science). Requires 4
- 6 years of related experience.
Or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position.
Technical Skills:
One or more of the following skills are desired.

Pay Range:
$73,800.00
- $132,700.
