This individual will lead change management efforts on one or more projects, ensuring alignment with Eversource’s established change management methodology, based on Prosci standards. The role demands expertise in managing end-to-end change processes, driving stakeholder engagement, training, resistance management, and ensuring the sustainability of change initiatives. ________________________________________
Key Responsibilities Strategic Partnership:
o Partner closely with the Project Manager and Sponsors to support successful project execution. o Collaborate with the Change Management Office (CMO) to align with governance, standards, and reporting protocols.
Change Management Execution:
o Develop and lead the execution of the overall Change Management strategy. o Conduct stakeholder analysis and detailed change impact assessments. o Manage resistance through proven strategies and tools. o Create and manage comprehensive Change Management plans and timelines.
Performance & Reporting:
o Define and track sustainable success metrics in collaboration with business sponsors. o Monitor and report progress on change adoption using ADKAR milestones, health assessments, and other performance indicators. o Create Change Management Closeout reports and perform 30-, 60-, and 90-day post-implementation check-ins to assess effectiveness of adoption and address gaps with leadership.
Documentation & Compliance:
o Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all change-related activities and deliverables, ensuring alignment with Eversource standards. o Provide advisory support regarding project health and change readiness.
Team Leadership:
o Lead the Change Management workstream and coordinate with training leads/teams to support project learning objectives. o Fulfill additional roles such as communications specialist or change analyst as needed, especially when specific roles are unassigned.
Stakeholder Engagement:
o Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization. o Provide coaching and change readiness support to teams and leaders.
Required Qualifications Certification:
o Prosci Change Management Certification is required due to license constraints and access to proprietary tools.
Experience:
o Minimum of 3 years as a Change Management Practitioner. o Proven success in leading change initiatives for large-scale projects, especially within complex and regulated environments.
Technical & Professional Skills:
o Strong knowledge of change impact analysis, resistance management, and sustainment planning. o Excellent verbal and written communication skills. o Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building abilities. o Facilitation and interpersonal skills to drive change adoption.
Preferred Industry Experience:
o Experience within utilities or regulated sectors highly preferred.
Work Environment:
Hybrid or on-site work arrangements may be available depending on organizational needs. May require occasional travel to business locations or project sites. Additional Notes This is a non-substitutable role essential for the success of change initiatives. Access to select Eversource provided Prosci tools and templates is restricted to certified practitioners. The Change Management Practitioner/Lead must independently execute multiple roles if required, including training and communication functions, ensuring all deliverables meet organizational quality standards.
