Change Management Technician

out of 5 stars Charlotte, NC 28277 Segra is searching for a dynamic and experienced Change Management Technician II.
Role Overview:
The Change Management Technician II will be responsible for processing network maintenance requests. The Analyst II would also be responsible for using gained knowledge to assist other technicians with his/her duties. The Analyst II would gather the appropriate resources to compile a maintenance impact list, deconflict with other maintenances to avoid an outage and send maintenance notifications. The technician II would be tasked with tracking maintenance statistics and an array of performance statistics.
Qualification Education:
Bachelors degree preferred and/or combination of 6 years related experience
Experience:
4+ years of directly related telephony or network operations experience. Demonstrated understanding of LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, ATM, Frame Relay and ADSL, or; Demonstrated understanding of TDM, SONET and DWDM equipment and fundamentals. Must have extensive computer skills with MS Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), experience with Inventory systems is a plus.

Strong work ethic and multi-tasking ability, as well as the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Seek additional knowledge to supplement job duties or work with Manager to establish training plan.
