This role entails program level activities from small projects through capture and major US DOD Program execution. Candidate will be responsible for understanding and executing with attention to detail in a robust regulatory environment. The Program Manager is responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of company programs and activities for a wide range of products and services in the defense industry. This position has the potential to expand into a senior program management and leadership role. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Participate in the planning and scoping of logistics, integration, and service projects/programs Document the scope, cost, and schedule of your programs in a program plan Ensure successful and timely delivery of the project requirements in the agreed program plan Monitoring program cost and performance targets Actively managing program risks and maintaining a program risk register with clear mitigation plans Ensure that program deliverables are delivered using Company processes and procedures Produce program management reports (weekly and monthly updates, ad hoc status/stand up Plan, specify and maintain the product and/or projects in-line with the strategic plan/ roadmap ensuring benefits align, including Business Case generation Serve as the primary liaison between Supply Chain and other functions for key Products/Programs Executing strategies and actions to track Supplier on time Delivery metrics and Customer on-time Delivery metrics Analyze metrics and identify challenged areas and champion continued improvements Transparency in Reporting Supply Chain status and communicating critical issues to internal stakeholders with solution focused actions Ability to break large complex issues into smaller individual approaches to achieve business objectives in an organized manner Familiar with developing Statements of Work (SOWs) Ability to communicate effectively to internal executive leadership or line management both written and verbally New Business Proposals / Capture Experience on competitive and/or sole source pursuits Experience in Supply Chain execution across a Product Life Cycle (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, PRR etc.) Serialized product and warranty tracking under program services Initial setup of non-complex solutions, while managing internal processes for maintenance and product improvement initiatives Participate in the negotiation of contract and contract changes. Coordinate the preparation of proposals, business plans, performance Statement of Work (SOW) and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract. Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customers to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance. Establishes design concepts, criteria and engineering efforts for product research, development, integration and test. Expand the product line with the customer. Establish milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocating resources or changing contractual specifications. Direct the work of employees assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing and administrative areas

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.

Technical Proficiency:

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), with experience in procurement software.

Analytical Skills:

Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with the capacity to assess cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.

Organization & Time Management:

Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

Adaptability:

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adjust priorities as needed.

Negotiation Skills:

Strong negotiation skills with a proven ability to secure favorable terms and pricing.

Communication Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with the Government, suppliers, vendors, and internal teams. Attention to

Strong attention to detail, ensuring all orders, contracts, and documentation are accurate and complete. Ability to Obtain a

US Security Clearance Preferred Qualifications:

Earned Value Management experience / Previous Control Account Manager experience. Experience in Government and Commercial Contracting/Subcontracting managing supplier performance in the areas of technical scope, schedule, and cost. Knowledge and Experience with Export/Import laws PMP Certification Experience and understanding of product specifications, statements of work (SOW), and terms and conditions Global sourcing experience. The salary range for this role is $85,000 – $150,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience.
