We are looking for a VP, Business Continuity/Recovery II to jointhe BNY team. This role can be located in Lake Mary, FL orPittsburgh, PA – Hybrid In this role, you’ll make an impact in thefollowing ways: Responsible for the ongoing, independent oversightof complex business resiliency activities and incident managementprocess governance. Drives the continuous improvement of theincident management process by standardizing major incidentresponses, tracking and reporting on trends and working to completeRoot Cause Analysis with incident owners in a timely manner.
Assists with the assessment of and reporting on key indicators ofbusiness continuity and recovery preparedness. Plans for standardbusiness continuity risks and contributes to the group’s activitiesto address any control gaps. Supports the Business Resiliency Leadto ensure the platform is meeting both client and regulatoryrequirements related to business continuity and incidentmanagement. This includes providing training and awareness onrequired deliverables, tracking and monitoring for completion,conducting quality assurance reviews and reporting back tomanagement, as required. Consistently contributes tocross-functional efforts to promote a strong business continuity &recovery culture throughout the organization. Assists with thedrafting of the master resolution and recovery playbook for theorganization, including documenting actions to be taken in theevent of a crisis or bankruptcy. No direct reports.
MinimumRequirements:
Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination ofeducation and experience is required. 7-10 years of total workexperience preferred. At BNY, our culture speaks for itself. Thebase salary for this position is expected to be between $81,000 and$149,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, basesalary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis,including as to experience and market location, and is only part ofthe BNY total compensation package, which, depending on theposition, may also include commission earnings, discretionarybonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, andCompany-sponsored benefit programs.
