Avadian Credit Union is seeking a dynamic Business Relationship Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of business clients with revenues of $1MM and above by delivering tailored deposit and credit solutions.
Requirements:
Handle relationship management activities with new and existing clients in a book of business to achieve deposit, loan, and revenue goals. Identify, acquire, and grow new relationships with business clients. Deliver knowledgeable advice and solutions to grow business relationships and optimize revenue opportunities. Assess the client’s financial needs for the purpose of formulating a business plan and delivering an effective variety of financial products and services to help the client succeed financially. Provide business relationship management with existing members to fully understand their business, objectives, strategies, and challenges. Collaborate with branches and product partners. Plan and execute quality client/prospecting calls. May leverage knowledge and experience to provide guidance on best practices to team members with less experience. Participate in marketing and business development initiatives to create brand awareness within the business community. Work within credit union regulations and requirements to maintain a compliant portfolio. Risk management to help mitigate fraud and protect members. Responsible for following
BSA/OFAC
policies and procedures. Prompt and regular attendance required. Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience:
One to three years of similar or related experience.
Education:
(1) A bachelor’s degree, or (2) achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor’s degree (e.g., information technology certifications in lieu of a degree) and 5+ years closely related B2B financial services experience including growing and managing a dedicated book of business.
