Job Description:

At Regions, the Business Transformation Consultant Oversees the systematic deployment of project activities, tools, and processes throughout the lifecycle of a transformation. Ensures projects remain on time/within budget, certifies project goals and success markers are met. This position collaborates with project teams, functional owners, and project sponsors supporting and executing the full project life cycle to achieve specific business outcomes. Primary Responsibilities Partners with key business, technology and operations stakeholders to successfully implement the bank’s transformation goals Utilizes transformation organization’s framework to plan, execute and transition delivery of simple – intermediate transformation programs or threads on complex programs Develops and manages overall project plans to ensure transformation status and identify risks to success Supports transformation managers on delivery of enterprise programs Works independently to draft project deliverables for review with Transformation Managers Maintains ownership during all phases of a program to ensure deliverables are executed according to plans Solicits feedback from supervisor/manager prior to finalizing project related deliverables Provides project and program status reporting This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay. This position is incentive eligible. Requirements Masters of Business Administration and four (4) years of transformation or project management experience Or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field and six (6) years of transformation or project management experience Preferences Project Management Professional (PMP) certification One (1) year of banking or financial services experience Skills and Competencies Agile methodologies / Ability to adapt Can work under pressure to meet deadlines Communication / Interpersonal skills Detailed project planning / Task management Experience supporting requirements, process/procedure development Organizational Change Management Organized/Detail oriented Project Management experience Project status reporting RAID Oversight (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Decisions) Testing support experience (UAT) Training oversight for changes This position may be filled at a higher level depending on the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience. Position Type Full time Compensation Details Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job. The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.
