Job Description and Position Responsibilities:

Penta Research Inc. is searching for a Program Analyst, entry level to mid-level experience, to join our team. The successful candidate will support the THAAD Project Office in the Missile Defense Agency. The program analyst will perform a variety of roles including: Reviews the annual budget exhibits to ensure acquisition strategies align to ensure contract awards are forecasted accurately to ensure appropriated budget is obligated within the appropriated fiscal year
Provides support to the Program Management and Integration team during the annual review cycle in developing contracts baselines and reporting variances to Agency senior leadership, the Government Accountability Office, and Congressional Committees
Supports the development and/or review of acquisition and program management documentation, briefings, and white papers
Analyze and review staff actions from Congressional or external/internal actions from the MDA or US Army and coordinate actions and responses will all appropriate organizations.
Assists with the establishment of long-range procurement objectives for requirements to be executed each fiscal year
Assist in the preparation of senior leader briefings and other deliverables providing Acquisition status of all contract efforts.
Perform in a high, up-tempo, and detail-oriented work environment.
Participates in definition of assignments, including identification of work to be done and deadlines for completion; plans and organizes the work; interprets regulations; and coordinates with others as necessary. Completed work is generally reviewed by the supervisor for compatibility with goals and for effectiveness in meeting objectives.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in a field of business or 24 business related credit hours
US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience supporting Programs utilizing automated scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project and Milestones Professional
Must possess strong communications and analytical skills, be a self-starter, and detail oriented

Travel Requirement:

Some travel, up to 10%, may be expected for this position.
