Job Description
The Executive Director of Strategic initiatives will serve an integral role in assisting the ministry in development and implementation of strategic initiatives. Responsible for facilitation of a variety of Mercy programs and strategic projects, the executive director will collaborate closely with operations leaders by identifying, developing, and providing objective data and analysis and tools that enable leadership to surface issues, and make informed decisions and action plans to support operations in achievement of this specific strategic goal. In addition, the executive director consistently measures strategic performance and targets and communicates routinely to executive sponsors of this initiative. Participates in an active and positive manner in decision-making and implementation of key strategic initiatives in concert with leadership across the ministry.
Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Healthcare Administration or related field and commitment to pursue and complete a Master’s degree in Business or HealthCare Administration

Experience:

Three to Five years experience in healthcare planning and/or healthcare administrative management

Certifications:
Other:

Strong financial and analytical skills.
Understanding of business development, strategic planning and ambulatory care operations.
Ability to build rapport and relationships quickly. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Experience in budget management, project management and supervision of employees. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Ability to work with a wide variety of people throughout the organization; ability to project a well-disciplined professional image.
Ability to build trust and redibility through right relationship in a highly matrixed environment with limited line authority and direct access to human and financial resources.

Preferred Education:

Master’s Degree in Business or Healthcare Administration
