Business Systems Analyst Position Available In Western Connecticut Planning Region, Connecticut

Description We are looking to hire a Business Systems Analyst to join our remote team. You will be supporting our operations team, working directly with the COO to support and develop applications. You must have experience with SQL queries and Stored Procedures and have an analytical mindset. You will be reviewing reports, creating dashboards and reports, and supporting the business analytics. In this role, you will play a key part in developing, maintaining, and supporting software applications and workflows. The ideal candidate has a strong analytical mindset, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and demonstrable experience working with SQL and enterprise-grade systems. • Strong SQL proficiency required including experience working with large datasets and writing complex queries and procedures
• VBA / advanced Excel skills are nice to have
• Proven ability to analyze data and business processes to identify areas for improvement.
• BA/BS in computer science/mathematics/finance is a major plus
• 2-5 years experience
• Ability to work independently is a must
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of other languages (C, Perl, Python, etc) a plus
• Knowledge of Bloomberg APIs, Tableau, or Crystal Reports is a plus, but not necessary Technology Doesn’t Change the World, People Do.
