Summary:
The Strategic Planning Consultant plays a criticalrole in supporting strategic decision-making across the BrowardHealth system by leveraging data analytics, business insights, andeffective communication. This individual will extract, mine,analyze, and interpret complex data to identify trends,opportunities, and risks while translating findings into actionablestrategies that drive organizational success.
Responsibilities:
Extract, mine, clean, and analyze structured and unstructuredhealthcare data from multiple sources (e.g., EMRs, financialsystems, and operational reports) and ensure best practices fordata integrity, security, and compliance with healthcareregulations (e.g., HIPAA). Develop predictive models and data-driven insights to supportstrategic planning, operational efficiency, and patient outcomes.
Compare hospitals to each other and to local and regionalcompetitors. Use statistical methods and machine learning techniques toidentify key trends and patterns.
Experience (or equivalenteducation):6 years of experience in data analysis, businessstrategy, and healthcare analytics. Experience with businessintelligence, visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI), and dataanalysis tools (Python, R, SQL, SAS) required. Experience in ahealthcare provider, payer, or consulting setting is highlydesirable.

Caboodle, Slicer Dicer, Radar preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in arelated field. Master’s degree in related fieldpreferred.

6 years of experience in data analysis,business strategy, and healthcare analytics.
