Job Description:

The Business Management Senior Analyst manages a team of specialists/coordinators within a particular
specialization/practice area such as design development, measurement, operations and/or delivery of L &
D programs / initiatives. The Business Management Senior Analyst facilitates Companywide training and
development programs which impact the strategic goals of the business unit. The job uses a variety of
learning and delivery methods and assesses training needs, measures results, and develops training
programs, curriculum, and materials to address training issues. The Business Management Senior Analyst
consults with business unit managers to assess needs, design programs, and implement training and
development programs.

Depth & Scope:

Leads a group of L&D specialists/professionals across various business
locations/geography

• Executes as a key contributor the strategic L&D initiatives and decisions making related to
  own area of expertise
• Identifies the need to negotiate and influence within the business line and recommends
  solutions
• Supports training budget by ensuring that all team members adhere to budget and takes
  corrective action as required
• Supports the review of vendor/consultant relationships to determine effectiveness of
  meeting future training and service needs
• Completes appropriate analysis to measure the value of training programs and considers
  alternatives to provide the most effective training solutions available within budgetary
  constraints
• Leads the team by recruiting, selecting and developing a diverse team
• Supports talent development by valuing high performers
  Coaches Employees during one on ones and projects to facilitate ongoing Employee
  development. Evaluates performance based on job accountabilities and objectives
• Works collaboratively to identify, analyze, and resolve operational issues that align with
  overall TD University strategy and objectives
• Provides guidance and expertise in the determination of instances where computer-based
  training and / or web-based training is the most efficient responses to the training
  requirement
• Assesses operational objectives and assists in designing appropriately targeted material in in efficient manner minimizing lost productivity

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or progressive work experience in addition to experience below
• 5+ years related experience required
• Expert presentation and facilitation skills are required
• In-depth knowledge of training practices and principles of adult learning theory is required
• Ability to analyze training feedback and appropriately modify training programs is required
  Proven leadership ability to manage and provide for the professional development of retail
  staff across the network
• Excellent communication skills to relate to all levels of staff and in a variety of settings
• Ability to work flexible hours and travel throughout the TD footprint
  The Senior IT Support Analyst TDS designs and develops quality solutions for program/system issues consistent with project objectives and client requirements, and follow technology architecture standards.

Depth & Scope:

Conducts program/system research, analysis, design and problem resolution
Ensures defect free programming by testing and debugging using available/appropriate tools and participates in reviewing peer coding
Participates in identifying and recommending development/testing solutions/tools in support of project objectives
Develops, implements, maintains and improves solutions/processes that maximize system availability, efficiency/effectiveness and minimize/prevent problems/issues
Adheres to existing processes/standards, technology architecture, risk and production capacity guidelines and objectives; plans, monitors, tests and escalates issues as required
Works with the architecture group to ensure good architectural design and raises issues as they develop through the project lifecycle in a timely manner
Complies with the system development life cycle (SDLC) and project management methodology (PMLC) by participating in scope assessment, risk and cost analysis
Subject matter expert in at least one area of discipline and consults with clients/or project teams with respect to all aspects of research, analysis, design, hardware/ software support, development of technical solutions and/or testing
Works independently in a senior/lead role on a diverse range of tasks and may be relied upon to coach/ educate others
Leads the development of detailed/ complex and/or comprehensive project plans for large projects
Assignments are moderately to highly complex and multi-faceted
May provide guidance/direction to a few IT professionals
Acts as a resource in the exchange of technical information for project teams, the business and/or outside vendors
Develops and operationalize technology standards, policies and processes to address

Education & Experience:

College degree, or specialized training / equivalent work experience
3+ Years of related experience
Advanced knowledge of the technical environment/ tools (e.g., user environment, applications, software, hardware, programming languages and operating systems) in own area
Advanced knowledge of business processes and procedures on a broad, organizational level
Sound to advanced knowledge of business/ organization, Bank standards, infrastructure, architecture and technology in related areas from a design/ support/ solutions perspective
