This role leads the solution deployment process — from solution confirmation/requirements gathering and configuration to user training and go-live — ensuring that projects are delivered on time and aligned with client goals. As a key member of the delivery team, the Implementations Lead serves as a trusted advisor to clients, a mentor to delivery team members, and a bridge between client’s needs and project execution. This role requires strong product knowledge, project ownership, and the ability to manage multiple moving parts while keeping the client experience front and center. Key Responsibilities Lead Business Central Deployment Manage the full lifecycle of implementations including solution confirmation, configuration, testing, training (workshops), and go-live. Client Requirements & Solution s Conduct workshops with clients to understand business processes, gather requirements, and translate them into a scalable solution design. Configure & Test the Solution Build and validate configurations based on approved solution design, ensuring functionality aligns with business requirements. Client Communication & Relationship Management Serve as the main point of contact for clients throughout the implementation, maintaining clear, professional communication and managing expectations. Coordinate with Internal Teams Collaborate with developers, project coordinators, and support teams to ensure project deliverables are aligned and on track. Train & Support Users Deliver tailored workshops to end users and administrators to ensure a confident and successful adoption of the solution. Mentor Team Members Guide and support team members by providing feedback and sharing implementation best practices. Contribute to Process Improvement Recommend and implement improvements to internal delivery processes, documentation, and reusable templates or tools. Escalations Support Handle team ticketing escalations as needed. Experience & Qualifications Experience 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (or Dynamics NAV), including full-cycle ERP implementations. Functional Expertise Deep understanding of core modules such as Finance, Sales, Purchasing, and Inventory. Experience with manufacturing, service, or rental functional areas/apps or industry is an asset. Implementation Skills Skilled in facilitating workshops, documenting requirements, configuring systems, and managing go-lives with a fast-paced implementation timeline. Communication & Leadership Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead client meetings, guide internal teams, and manage multiple priorities. Tools & Methodology Proficient with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Planner, DevOps). Familiarity with Business Central extensions and partner apps. Power Platform knowledge is a plus. Certifications (preferred) Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant Associate.
