Job Overview
The Senior Business Analyst daily activities will involve monitoring critical tasks and jobs, and proactively identifying opportunities to reduce storage and compute costs. This position is perfect for a developer who is passionate about leveraging cutting-edge database technologies and is driven to contribute to the most efficient and advanced database development team within the organization.
A Typical Day
The Senior Business Analyst will:
Optimize existing T-SQL and Snowflake processes for performance and efficiency.
Translate business requirements into effective T-SQL and Snowflake code.
Monitor SQL/Snowflake jobs, identifying and implementing storage/compute cost reductions.
Troubleshoot database issues and contribute to new feature development.
Stay current with T-SQL, Snowflake, and database best practices.
Work with internal and external business partners to collaborate and deliver enterprise related projects
Perform other related duties as required and assigned
Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization’s desired culture and values
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
7+ years of relevant work experience
Proven T-SQL development experience (complex queries, stored procedures).
Hands-on Snowflake experience (data loading, tuning, cost management).
Strong understanding of database design, data modeling, and ETL/ELT.
Experience monitoring database tasks and optimizing resources.
Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Analytical, problem-solving, and strong communication skills.
Proactive mindset focused on efficiency and advanced database solutions.
