Business Analyst MinimumRequired Skills:

• Ten (10) or more years of experience as an ITBusiness Analyst with experience in all phases in the systemdevelopment lifecycle.
• Knowledge of the principles, practices andtechniques of computer programming and systems design.
• Knowledgeof business process engineering and software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, development, testing andimplementation of software applications.
• Ability to work withbusiness users to analyze and gather system functionalrequirements.
• Ability to prepare software design specificationsbased on analysis of system functional requirements.
• Ability toresearch and recommend appropriate technical solutions to meetfunctional requirements.
• Ability to interpret technicalinformation and communicate effectively to technical andnon-technical staff and management.

• Ability to perform mathematical calculations.
• Ability to developtechnical documentation, specifications and reports.

Business Analyst Responsibilities:

• Defines, develops, anddocuments users/stakeholders’ needs in support of the achievementof business requirements.
• Assists in and provides the definitionand documentation of the business requirements, objectives,deliverables, and specifications needed to develop new softwareprograms and applications.
• Provides documentation and support toexisting APD business applications regarding system enhancements.
• Designs, runs, and monitors software performance tests on new andexisting applications for the purpose of correcting errors,isolating areas for improvement, and general debugging.
• Liaisewith network administrators, database administrators, systemanalysts, and business owners to assist in resolving problems withapplications/programs.
