Evaluates, manages, and maintains specific reports and databases to provide leadership, advanced support, development, and guidance in Finance and Administration related tasks for client sites. Will work with UBA staff and Deans/Directors/Department Heads to maintain business operations, train and resolve financial issues, create reporting tools, and set systems into place to improve workflow. Uses in-depth knowledge of financial system modules (procurement, billing, accounts payable, travel, accounts receivable) to ensure successful and timely issue resolution and escalating when necessary. Monitors financial data for internal control and compliance, reviews transactional data monthly, reports activity volume, identifies exceptions, and implements improvements. Develops statistical analysis methods for strategic planning and reviews UBA site reports. Utilizes SQL and data reporting tools to optimize queries and reports, design and maintain databases, and create financial and statistical reporting systems. Analyzes data to identify trends, formulate recommendations for process improvements, and implement solutions. Develops and updates training resources including reports, work samples, and presentations. Guides department representatives to resolve system questions and coordinates trainings as needed. Serves as the Information Security Manager (ISM) and SeminoleSecure Business Impact and Disaster Recovery Coordinator for the department ensuring data is stored correctly and maintains emergency plans. Oversees maintenance of the UBA website. Qualifications A Bachelor’s degree and two years of experience; or a high school diploma or equivalent and six years of experience. (

Advanced Excel skills and experience utilizing data reporting tools such as SQL to manage large datasets, providing insightful analysis and supporting decision-making processes.
Customer Service & Compliance :
Strong customer service skills to work with a variety of client sites and employees, providing training on existing processes and offering guidance to ensure compliance with University, State, and Federal policies and statutes. Helpful The top candidate for this position will be someone with strong data reporting experience to be able to pull information from FSU sources and present to leadership to assist with making decisions and identify opportunities. They will also be able to work independently and take ideas shared in meetings to develop tools or resources for client sites. Working with other staff, they will act as a resource for new and existing employees to answer questions and create/maintain various resources utilizing previous training experiences.
