We are actively hiring for Business Analyst

Location:

Tallahassee, FL (On-Site

Key Responsibility:

Minimum of three (5) years of relevant technical or business work experience
Serves as a liaison between the businessmunity and the ITanization to provide technical solutions to meet user needs
Possesses expertise in the business unit(s) supported, with a strong understanding of the ITanization’s systems and capabilities
Analyzes business operations to identify strengths and weaknesses and determine opportunities for process automation
Assists with business process redesign and documentation in support of new technologies
Translates high-level business requirements into functional specifications and manages changes to these specifications
Educates the ITanization on the direction and priorities of the business
Facilitatesmunication between business units and IT from initial requirements through final implementation, negotiating agreements andmitments
Maintains awareness of technological trends and leverages this knowledge to enhance the enterprise’spetitive edge
Makes rmendations on buy versus build decisions
A minimum of three (3) years of relevant technical or business work experience
Strong skills in analyzing and documenting technical processes, mapping out business processes, identifying bottlenecks, and analyzing inefficiencies
Experience with data mapping, data modeling, and data integration between systems
Experience with Microsoft Visio and ability to demonstrate proficiency
Strong verbal and writtenmunication skills and interpersonal skills
Requirement Gathering and Analysis
Engage with stakeholders to identify and document business needs, objectives, and challenges.
Conduct workshops, interviews, surveys, and meetings to gather requirements.
Analyze and translate business requirements into technical specifications
Documentation
Create detailed business requirement documents (BRDs) and functional requirement specifications (FRS)
Prepare use cases, process flow diagrams, and system mockups to visualize solutions.
Maintain documentation for future reference and audit purposes
Stakeholder Communication
Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams
Facilitate effectivemunication to ensure all parties have a clear understanding of requirements.
Conduct presentations and walkthroughs for stakeholders to validate requirements.
Solution Evaluation
Collaborate with development teams to ensure requirements are implemented accurately.
Test proposed solutions to verify they meet business needs through User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Identify gaps or issues in the proposed solutions and suggest modifications.
Process Improvement
Evaluate current business processes and rmend improvements or optimizations
Implement best practices and standards in business analysis and documentation
Provide insights into trends and patterns through data analysis

Preferred Experience/Skills:

Familiarity with business process mapping and defining current state applications in requirements documentation
Experience facilitating sessions with business leadership, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and users within a business function
Skilled in understanding web applications andmon application approaches to support business capabilities

Education:

A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field, or four (4) years of equivalent work experience is required. Relevant experience may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis when applicable.
