Role:
We are seeking a senior-level Hyperion Business Analyst for an initial 6-month contract with the intent to convert to a full-time role. If the candidate is not local, they must be willing to relocate to or work on-site in either Dallas, TX or Miami, FL upon conversion. In this high-impact position, you will be responsible for aligning business objectives with technical solutions in the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) space.
Responsibilities:
Contribute to strategic FP&A technology projects. Design, test, and implement system enhancements and new solutions. Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and train business users. Maintain clear and detailed project documentation. Serve as a key liaison for senior stakeholders and leadership. Ensure all initiatives are aligned with business objectives. Identify areas for improvement and propose actionable recommendations.
Required Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred). 5+ years in business analysis or a similar role. 3+ years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A). 3+ years of hands-on experience with Hyperion, Oracle EPM, or comparable EPM platforms. Skilled in data visualization/reporting tools like Power BI. Strong understanding of financial close, planning, forecasting, and variance analysis. Experience working in Agile environments and using modern project management tools. Strong knowledge of business processes, enterprise architecture, and systems integration.
