Full Job Description Job Summary:

Responsible for loan monitoring during life cycle to include all internal and external reporting requirements, company I borrower news and press releases and all relevant events. Responsible for the maintenance of the Commercial Loan Portfolio and for providing support as detailed below.

Essential Responsibilities:

Facilitates the preparation of credit underwriting and analysis of existing loans in connection with renewals and modifications. Assist in facilitating closing of transactions. Manage past due and maturing loans. Recommends and models appropriate loan structure for new and existing loan relationships Prepares periodic reviews of existing loans to assess credit quality and covenant compliance Collect, receive and review financial report to monitor loan compliance and performance. Prepare files for annual review and complete review on timely basis. Responsible for portfolio annual inspections Timely response to open exception report, loan review audits and support internal and external audits. Review weekly reports and tickler file for assigned Portfolio. Assists Commercial Real Estate Team with potential new business. Assists in the preparation of Waivers and Amendments. Prepares Commercial portfolio and other miscellaneous reports as needed. Requests and follows-up on pending and missing legal and other documentation supporting credit assets. Prepares visitation reports summarizing visits to properties and/or with clients. Assist with Commercial Lending team as needed to acquire working knowledge of Credit Analysis Providing loan document information as required which includes secondary market and NLP portfolios. Create and send default letters as required. Other ad-hoc duties as necessary in order to familiarize with all department areas. SAG Manage and serve as primary point of contact for a portfolio of credit facilities, secured by distressed commercial real estate assets. Developed and implemented credit strategies to maximize improvement in credit risk and loan recovery, while observing bank policy and minimizing collection costs. Employed a wide range of collection strategies including loan restructurings, cash pay downs, and the pursuit of collateral. Completed detailed quarterly “Criticize Asset Reports” for each facility. Reports included a summary of the past quarter’s developments and operating results, as well as an updated risk profile and exit strategy for each account. Worked with CRE line officer and management and the bank’s credit committee to gain internal approval for risk appropriate loan modifications and credit facility restructurings Manage and works with attorneys regularly to come to a suitable solution on distress assets. Reviews and underwrite loan files for risk grading and workout identification Assist existing borrowers in identifying replacement lenders, manages collections, negotiate workout terms and early extinguishment of certain loans at a discount, and coordinate legal efforts. Interact with investors, brokers, loan officers, and attorneys with the sale of distressed Assets and portfolio. Monitoring sales and the closings of distress assets. Keep track of deficiency judgments and assist in the collection process. Attend mediations and/or depositions Coordinate with FirstBank Florida attorney in negotiating, preparing, and reviewing

Individual is required to work independently with little supervision and meet established deadlines.

Disorganization of the Department. Complaints from Clients/Investors. Improper classification of assets. Incorrect data presentation due to erroneous numbers.
