The successful applicant must reside in or between the Orlando and Vero Beach area in Florida for this telecommuting position. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established company of water management consultants and designers working with developers, contractors, governmental agencies, HOAs, farmers, and other ‘green industry’ professionals. What You’ll Do You’ll be an integral part of a collaborative, interdisciplinary team that includes horticulturists, arborists, landscape architects, agronomists, agriculturalists, agricultural engineers, civil and environmental engineers, and construction managers. This is a field-based position located in Florida, with travel throughout the region in a company-issued vehicle. You’ll work from your home-based office when not in the field. What You’ll Work On Perform inspections and audits of commercial irrigation systems Consult and conduct evaluations and analyses on water management practices for urban, golf and agricultural projects Install irrigation central control components and systems Consult on, and conduct pumping plant, filtration, and control system analyses Utilize sophisticated analytical equipment for manual and automated site data collection Write professional reports Be a great team player dedicated to meeting deadlines, detailed, and results oriented What You Bring High School diploma is minimum Four-year college degree in agronomy, horticulture, agriculture, engineering or other related fields preferred Florida Driver’s License in good standing Willingness to take a personality profile analysis Strong communication and organizational skills Formal irrigation training a plus Bilingual a plus (English/Spanish) A positive, team-oriented mindset and a desire to grow Background checks and drug testing are required as part of the hiring process.
