Job Description:
Supports business decision-making by conducting detailed operational and risk analyses, with moderate to high complexity, under the guidance of a Senior Business Analyst or direct supervisor. Responsibilities include leading medium to large-scale projects, conducting both quantitative and qualitative research, designing and improving processes, and developing reports using standard tools and methodologies. Ideal candidates have 3 to 5 years of related experience and hold a bachelor’s degree.
Additional Responsibilities:
Monitor daily exposure levels to ensure compliance with collateral requirements, including performing daily margin calls, negotiating terms, updating internal databases, and recording changes accurately.
Manage outbound collateral such as letters of credit, guarantees, cash, and surety bonds by collaborating with Treasury, legal, banks, and insurance providers.
Support front-office teams by overseeing collateral coverage at ISOs, ensuring participation in energy markets or auctions, and maintaining daily utilization reports and
FERC 741
filings.
Contribute to credit and liquidity risk assessments, ensuring alignment with SOX control requirements and reporting standards.
Compile and analyze key credit and liquidity metrics for reporting to senior leadership.
Partner with Credit Underwriting to review contracts (e.g., ISDA, EEI, NAESB) and confirm that credit terms and limits align with risk guidelines.
Collaborate with IT to enhance system capabilities—providing specifications, testing updates, prioritizing enhancements, and ensuring timely delivery of compliance-related projects. This may involve building Power BI dashboards, writing SQL queries, or using Power Automate for workflow optimization.
Play a key role in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate reporting. …
