This position will require the skills necessary for problem solving and reviewing more complex analysis using cutting edge analytical/statistical methods.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Creation of cession statements Ability to deal with ambiguity and competing objectives in a fast-paced environment Responsible for configuring and maintaining the reinsurance module within PCRS Monitoring and providing reports, proformas and analysis upon request Creating job aids, testing, and verifying calculations configured in the system Perform routine tasks including data gathering, system testing, and producing requested reports Identify variances to norms and possible next steps Must be organized and detailed in order to handle multi-task projects by the required deadlines Maintain documentation on processes and procedures. The ability to create and develop professional relationships with internal and external customers to define key business questions and build data sets for review Coordination of communication between client and vendors as needed Auditing of statements, projections, and other analytical work Special projects as assigned by immediate supervisor Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or related field 3+ years of professional experience in analytics, business analysis or comparable consumer analytics position Experience working with advanced Excel including Pivots, V-Lookups and building Macros Experience working with sequel database is a plus Experience in predictive analytics and statics preferred Experience applying advanced statistical techniques (i.e. hypothesis, testing, etc.) Must be able to work overtime as requested Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook)
