Description:
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be part of a dynamic teamand serve as a liaison between the business community and the ITorganization to provide solutions to meet user needs. This positionis within the technology group and will be based out of ourcorporate Headquarters in St. Petersburg, FL. Responsibilities:
Adheres to established standards and maintainscurrency in business analysis practices, procedures andtechniques. Balances conflicting resource and priority demands. Consults with users to identify, analyze, refine and documentbusiness requirements. Develops and maintains project schedules and produces projectreports and documentation. Develops conceptual design documents, including project definition,alternative solutions, scope of work, functional specifications andlogical skeletons for new systems. Develops recommendations for enterprise-wide productivity andquality improvements, including business processre-engineering. Follows up with internal clients about completed tasks to ensureclient satisfaction. Identifies requirements for testing, develops test plans andscripts and coordinates test transmissions, as required. Testssoftware. Identify options for potential solutions and assess them for bothtechnical and business suitability. Plans, assigns, monitors and leads the work of others. May prepare project proposals and project plans. Reviews operational procedures and methods; maps current businessprocesses; defines and analyzes business activities; identifiesbest practices; and recommends improvements. Reviews performance and evaluates results achieved by projectteams. Trains, coaches and mentors others. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements:
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science,MIS or related degree and five (5) years of experience in technicalbusiness analysis or combination of education, training andexperience. Experience creating process Controls and subsequent Testing andMonitoring is required. May work in a team environment or project room to facilitatecollaboration.
Business Analysis tools:
Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word,Viso, and Team Foundation Server), Smartsheet, and Basic databasequery skills.
Desired Skills:
Experience with Integrated Risk Managementplatforms such as IBM OpenPages, RSA Archer, ServiceNow, Wdesk,etc. is preferred. Financial Services experience is strongly preferred.
