Hybrid – Atlanta, GA Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Position Summary We are seeking a passionate and resourceful Small Business Consultant to join our Atlanta team. In this role, you will provide personalized consulting to aspiring and established Hispanic entrepreneurs, helping them assess business needs, identify opportunities, and access the right tools and resources to grow. This position works closely with the Regional Vice President and plays a key role in implementing Prospera’s proven economic development model in the region. It’s a collaborative, high-impact role that offers exposure to a wide network of clients, partners, funders, and community leaders. Key Responsibilities Client Consulting & Program Implementation (70%) Conduct business assessments for new and existing ventures Identify client needs and record business development progress in our CRM Create and manage customized Entrepreneur Development Plans (EDPs) Coordinate with technical assistance providers to deliver specialized support Refer clients to relevant community and government resources Maintain accurate, timely client data in CRM system Educational Program Coordination (15%) Plan and deliver educational seminars in collaboration with the Small Business Specialist Identify and recruit expert speakers Conduct and evaluate business orientation sessions (in Spanish) Ensure high-quality programming that addresses entrepreneurs needs Community Engagement & Special Projects (15%) Represent Prospera at community events, building awareness and fostering connections Support ecosystem relationships with corporations, government agencies, and nonprofit partners Collaborate on fundraising, volunteer management, and committee work Assist in developing a culture of philanthropy within the community Provide behind-the-scenes guidance for education-related initiatives Qualifications Education & Experience Post-secondary degree in business or a related field, or a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience (preferably in a small business environment) Required Skills Proficiency (English and Spanish)—both verbal and written Strong presentation and communication skills for diverse audiences Working knowledge of small business operations across various industries Excellent time management, multitasking, and organizational skills Ability to build rapport and maintain strong professional relationships Team-oriented with experience in small group collaboration Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint Professional demeanor and reliable transportation with a valid driver’s license Must pass pre-employment background and reference checks What We Offer 100% employer-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance (employee portion) 401(k) retirement plan Generous paid time off (PTO) Up to 19 paid holidays, including 3 floating holidays and a company-paid winter break (approx. 2 weeks) Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Health Savings Account (HSA) & Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Life, short- and long-term disability insurance Join Us If you’re passionate about empowering entrepreneurs and making a meaningful impact in the Hispanic business community, we’d love to hear from you.
