About this Position Expert/Specialist Business Analyst, able to lead & work with different projects. Able to lead/work on large strategic projects with no supervision, that involve dependencies across lines of business. Supports Project initiatives and able to mentor other BA’s. Requires expert level knowledge on business methods, processes, requirements, and standards. Able to communicate with multiple project stakeholders including development, QA, business team, marketing, and legal. The estimated salary range for this role is: $80K – $90
K Hybrid Role:
1 day per week in office Responsibilities & Qualifications Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities Autonomously elicit business requirements with a diverse group of stakeholders, business partners, and users across multiple locations and departments. Drive Business Stakeholders towards strategic thinking. Advise on viable roadmaps and execution plan, without compromising long term goals. Document complex business logic, rules and requirements in a simple, intuitive format and to present findings in a clear and concise manner. Analyze current state of the application and create target state documentation including wireframe, process model, and business rules etc. Lead meetings with functional user areas to define business system requirements and to resolve problems in existing areas Develop business case, ROI, and participate in long term firm benefits analysis Devise and recommend solutions and options for system design and enhancements. Works closely with the Product Owner to create and maintain product roadmaps, epics, features, user stories, use cases and other product documentation. Serve as a product subject matter expert or work alongside business subject matter expert for an integrated product team working in an agile Scrum process. Participates in user acceptance testing and testing of new system functionality. Identifies and escalates risks and issues, participates in change control and scope change process Lead root cause analysis, change control, scope management efforts, and test planning using proven testing techniques. Manage project scope through entire software development life cycle including documentation of requirements, testing, and implementation. Manages and leads large complex teams without authority Able to coach or mentor less experienced BA ‘s Assists in leading the Projects team, takes ownership of maturing the practice Communicates effectively at all levels of the organization, tailoring the message for the recipient
