Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Business Consultant with strong technical and project management experience to lead critical IT initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate leadership capabilities, hands-on technical understanding, and a background in organizational change management (OCM). This individual will be responsible for overseeing full project lifecycles—from planning through delivery—within an enterprise environment.
Responsibilities:
Take full ownership of projects and deliver results on-time and within scope. Lead organizational change management (OCM) efforts across stakeholders. Oversee technical requirements and coordinate closely with engineering teams. Manage all aspects of project execution including scheduling, risk mitigation, and quality control. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Identify opportunities to improve project efficiency and execution.
Key Project:
Support a statewide digital Case Management System modernization project for court operations, focused on building a secure, cloud-based solution that integrates across courts, databases, and reporting systems.
Required Skills & Experience:
12+ years of overall IT/business consulting experience 10+ years leading cross-functional teams and vendor management 10+ years in Organizational Change Management (OCM) 5+ years working with cloud-based IT systems 5+ years in IT audit and project quality assurance 5+ years experience with application implementation or development
Mandatory Certifications:
PMP Certification•Required OCM Certification or PRINCE2•Highly Preferred (can lead to interview consideration)
Preferred:
Prior experience working with judicial systems or state government projects Familiarity with Prosci ADKAR methodology Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
Additional Requirements:
Candidate must be local to Georgia or nearby states Must be available to attend regular on-site meetings in Atlanta, GA Candidate must be able to start within 2 weeks of offer Long-term engagement; expected to run until end of 2026 How to
