Job Description

The Senior Analyst will work within the Consumer Insights Team to represent the “voice of the consumer” for multiple brands in the Inspire portfolio. This will involve delivering fact-based consumer and customer understanding through primary consumer research, market segmentation, and consumer surveys. This person will also support additional data analysis of internal and external secondary and syndicated sources to help inform understanding of brand reputation, consumer experience, and likely response to brand initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead the consumer research process and identify actionable insights and unmet consumer needs that inform the basis for marketing activations and new product offerings Identify and provide business-minded insights and recommendations on industry and consumer trends, and competitive activities to impact company strategy and business decisions Manage vendor relationships including scheduling, planning, and monitoring consumer research projects Learn and develop expertise of various data sources as needed to support brands, product, or category deep-dives with support from the Insights leadership Develop strong relationships with internal business partners, including presentation of findings and understanding brand needs Mine consumer research and other sources to identify growth targets, triggers and barriers, and demand space opportunities

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS BA/BS

in Marketing, Psychology, Statistics, Social Sciences, or a related field

Preferred:

Master’s Degree in Market Research (MMR)

EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION 2-4

years of experience in Market Research, Consumer Insights, or related field

Preferred:

Restaurant chain, food manufacturer, consumer packaged goods company, or marketing research supplier. Ability to access and interpret syndicated data (e.g., Circana Checkout and Decision Key) also preferred.
