Overview
We’re looking for a Senior Business Analyst to serve as the bridge between business users and our application development team. This role will define and test tech solutions, support process improvements, and ensure systems meet business needs. You’ll also assist with data audits, user support, and operational readiness, especially during annual renewals.
How you’ll make an impact
Application Development
Act as a liaison between user groups and the application development team.
Collaborate with users to refine processes and develop programming specifications for creating or modifying technology applications that support the business.
Conduct testing of development team outputs to ensure code meets specifications, performs the intended business functions, and properly handles exceptions.
Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and deliver training on new or existing technology applications.
Operations Support
Provide technology support through ongoing testing and data audits, with a primary focus on preparation for and execution during the annual renewal process.
Respond to client and user inquiries related to benefits data.
About You
8-12 years of relevant experience
Process documentation and development
Writing application development specifications
Testing modifications to existing or new applications
SOP documentation
Microsoft Excel
Microsoft Office Suite
Must be comfortable working in a fully remote environment, including:
Communicating effectively through remote channels
Using remote collaboration tools
Engaging in virtual team interaction and development
Preferred:
SQL / SQL
Server Management Studio
Experience with benefits administration or benefits underwriting
Familiarity with software development project tools (e.g., Azure DevOps)
Understanding of Agile methodology
