We are seeking a Sr Business Analyst with experience in data warehousing and healthcare data, particularly
HEDIS/STARS
related data solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of business analysis practices and be familiar with modern data architectures and cloud data platforms, including Azure Cloud, Databricks, and Snowflake. This role requires a deep understanding of
HEDIS/STARS
business processes, measure definitions, and related reporting and analytics business use cases.
Key Responsibilities:
Meet with business stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs) to capture underlying business requirements. Identify new business requirements related to the existing
HEDIS/STARS
Data Mart to be a flexible solution with a data middle layer utilizing a dimensional data model at the necessary level of grain for flexible and dynamic calculation of
HEDIS/STARS
measures. Develop and maintain business requirements, process documentation, and data architecture documentation. Provide guidance and support to junior analysts and team members. Ensure best practices in business analysis, data modeling, and data integration are followed.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience as a business analyst in data warehousing and healthcare data, specifically on
HEDIS/STARS
related data solutions. Familiarity with Azure Cloud, Databricks, and Snowflake from prior roles as a business analyst. Deep understanding of
HEDIS/STARS
business processes, measure definitions, and related reporting and analytics business use cases. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
