out of 5 stars 801 Gloucester Street, Brunswick, GA 31520 Mayvin is seeking Program Analyst I to support the United States Marshals Service (USMS) Training Division at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Brunswick, GA, or at USMS HQ in Arlington, VA 22202. A Program Analyst may be tasked with analyzing data, identifying trends, and recommending solutions to optimize resource allocation and program effectiveness. The Program Analyst may also develop new policies, procedures, and systems. Must be a U.S. Citizen. Must undergo a Background Investigation (BI)
Responsibilities :
Gather and organize information from a variety of sources, such as records, computer files, previous studies, interviews, and accountable property Analyze information to identify issues and isolate problems Prepare, review, and edit various kinds of written correspondence and documents for completeness and accuracy This may involve reviewing various invoices and financial records Work in groups/teams on special projects to accomplish program goals Communicate via telephone and/or e-mail with high-level officials throughout the agency and District offices, as well as other contract affiliates Research and provide accurate information on matters necessary to carry out program policies Developing and maintaining logs and databases to track financial and budgetary program activities Provide administrative support to the various branch offices within the USMS Division by processing multiple types of incoming inquiries and documentation and preparing correspondence related to program issues for a higher-level signature
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s Degree (a master’s degree substitutes for one year of experience) Superior time management, organization, and prioritization skills Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal employees as well as outside sources At least one year of experience with finance, budgetary, or a related field Excellent attention to detail Strong communication skills Exhibit a high level of confidentiality Ability to quickly and effectively adapt to change Ability to embrace new systems and process enhancements
