Cambridge, MA About the Job The Sr. Director of Access Strategy,Oncology is responsible for integrating at a strategy and executionlevel all elements of access for a particular brand or franchiseinclusive of pricing/contracting strategy and GTN management,channel strategy, patient copay and other patient services relatedto coverage, reimbursement and patient access. responsible fordefining, developing and leading the market access strategy for thetherapeutic area. Reporting directly to the General Manager, USOncology, or equivalent for pre-launched assets, this role will actas a thought partner and consultant by presenting scope analysis,strategic options and recommendations ensuring the strategy forformulary access and financial objectives (revenue, net sales, BOI)are overdelivering for the portfolio of innovative therapies. Thishighly visible role must provide a holistic understanding of bothbrand and access strategy. Main Responsibilities:

Access Strategy & Market Access Excellence

  • Collaborate with the General Manager & senior leadership to setstrategic direction for market access, pricing, channel strategy,and reimbursement.
  • Develop and execute a robust, evidence-basedmarket access strategy that maximizes payer adoption and patientaccess to critical therapies.
  • Lead the creation of valuepropositions that demonstrate the economic and clinical benefits ofproducts to payers, healthcare providers, and stakeholders.
  • Develop and communicate robust market access strategies and plans,including clear articulation of the brands’ value story, and helpto integrate them into the overall brand plan.
  • Partner with HEVAbusiness partners to inform real world evidence generation andensure health economic activities are in place to meet the needs ofpayers.
  • Lead efforts to anticipate and adapt to changes in theregulatory and reimbursement landscape, ensuring compliance andsustained market access.
  • Identify gaps in current market accessunderstanding and develop plans to gain direct payer insightsthrough primary research, advisory boards, etc., and work withvendors to implement projects in a timely, impactful manner.
  • Leadpull through opportunities and execution of pull through strategyfor all channels and geographies based upon formulary position andopportunity.
  • Provide strategic and executional support forproduct launches, including market research, pricing strategy,contracting, and messaging to ensure successful market entry andadoption.

Gross-to-Net (GTN)

Strategy & Financial Oversight:
  • Oversee and optimize the GTN for the therapeutic area, ensuringthat pricing, rebates, and discounts [by channel] are managedefficiently to optimize net sales / BOI.
  • Monitor and analyze GTNperformance, providing recommendations to senior leadership tomitigate risks and maximize profitability.
  • Work closely withMarket Access Shared Services, Finance, Forecasting, PatientSupport Services, Trade, Legal, and other cross functionalstakeholders to identify opportunities to improve the brandgross-to-net while ensuring ease of access for patients atdispense.
  • As part of GTN management, ensuring success at allpayers as well as the deployment of thoughtful copay programs willbe a key focus. Partnering with these key functions [Trade, PatientSupport Services] will be essential in the overall success of thetherapeutic area.
  • Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) andtrack progress against access and financial goals.
Cross-FunctionalCollaboration:
  • Lead coordination of all access strategy elementsvia collaboration with cross-functional teams, including MarketAccess Shared Services, Brand Strategy, Medical Affairs,Regulatory, Patient Support Services, distribution and Finance, tointegrate access considerations into product development, launch,and lifecycle management.
  • Ensure alignment of access strategieswith the overall business objectives, providing guidance to seniorleadership on access-related decisions.
  • Serve as the TA subjectmatter expert for market access and GTN, providing strategicinsights to influence key decisions at the leadership level.
  • Workclosely with Business Insights & Solutions (BIS) to monitor thecompetitive landscape & intelligence, track payer behavior, markettrends, and industry developments to inform access and pricingstrategies.
  • Collaborates with Market Access Account Managementteam to ensure access strategies are executed with customers
Leadership & Team Development:
  • May lead, mentor, and develop ateam of Access Strategy professionals, fostering a culture ofexcellence, collaboration, and innovation.
  • Ensure alignmentbetween team activities and broader therapeutic area andorganizational goals.
  • Oversee the performance of the team,providing guidance, coaching, and professional developmentopportunities to drive team success and career growth.
About YouRequired Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanceddegree (MBA, M.S., PharmD, PhD) preferred.
  • 10 years of experiencein account management, payer marketing, contracting, pricing, etc.;7 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of managingteams and leading strategic initiatives across complex therapeuticareas.
  • Solid understanding of strategic pricing and commercialcontracting strategy, process and rules.
  • Strong strategicthinking and analytical mindset, with a focus on market access,financial optimization, and risk management.
  • Strong leadershipskills with the ability to build, motivate, and develophigh-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication and presentationskills, with the ability to influence and negotiate with seniorexecutives, payers, and external stakeholders.
  • High degree ofbusiness acumen, with the ability to balance strategic objectiveswith financial imperatives.
  • Ability to navigate complex, highlyregulated environments and manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Demonstrated analytical and financial skillsets.
  • Ability tobalance brand and access objectives when they may be in conflict
