Job Description

Job Summary The Analyst serves as a leader and internal consultant to Novant Health leadership and staff on large complex system, market, unit/institute level initiatives. The Analyst will partner closely with Senior and Executive Leaders to develop and advance the organizational rigor necessary to achieve top performance. Through the development and execution of system, region and institute growth plans, the Analyst is to provide partnership, direction and facilitation to leaders and teams in growth and revenue opportunities, value optimization and efficiency opportunities, and execution of high priority initiatives. The Analyst is expected to pursue her/his/their work with a high level of energy and steadfastly push self and others for results while supporting the organization in education, application of tools, methods, data collection, analysis, project facilitation, project management, mentoring and coaching consultants, and general leadership development in areas related to change management. As a leader, the Analyst is expected to provide primary support to leaders within Internal Consulting and the broader while demonstrating the ability to mentor other consultants. Qualifications Education:

4 Year / Bachelors Degree required. Prefer that the degree is in statistics, economics, mathematics, data analytics or strong relevant technical experience. Graduate Degree preferred. Master’s Degree Preferred.

Experience:

Minimum five years in analytics role. Experience delivering insightful analytics with significant complexity with a high degree of autonomy. Required. Additional Skills/Requirements (required): Advanced proficiency in Excel, including PivotTables, Power Pivot, and dynamic reporting to streamline data analysis. Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, enabling effective storytelling through data. Expertise in data querying and aggregation, extracting and integrating information from multiple systems to generate meaningful conclusions. Strong analytical skills, capable of identifying trends, interpreting findings, and uncovering actionable business opportunities. Proven ability to present data-driven insights, translating complex technical analyses into strategic recommendations for key stakeholders. Owns and leads development and execution of assigned components of Internal Consulting Group annual and ongoing organizational assessment process. Recommends insights and actions for growth and efficiency as an objective party. Effectively partners with leaders to effectively develop and maintain a comprehensive suite of performance dashboards.
