Charlotte, NC Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Business Analyst with strong domain expertise in Capital Markets to join our team. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders across business and technology teams to gather requirements, analyze processes, and support the delivery of strategic initiatives across trading, risk, and operations functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with business users, traders, and technology teams to gather and document functional and non-functional requirements. Analyze and model business processes related to capital markets trading, settlement, and risk management. Translate business needs into detailed specifications and user stories for development teams. Support the design and implementation of trading platforms, order management systems (OMS), and post-trade solutions. Conduct gap analysis and impact assessments for regulatory changes (e.g., MiFID II, EMIR, Dodd-Frank). Facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings, and sprint planning sessions. Assist in testing activities including test case creation, UAT coordination, and defect tracking. Provide subject matter expertise on capital markets products such as equities, fixed income, derivatives, FX, and structured products.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. 4 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the capital markets domain. Strong understanding of front-to-back trade lifecycle and capital markets instruments. Experience working with trading platforms, market data systems, or risk engines. Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements in capital markets. Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Excel, and SQL. Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
