Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst/Product Owner (BA/PO) to join our growing team supporting Asset Based Lending (ABL) operations. This role requires a professional with deep domain knowledge in ABL collateral management, borrowing base analysis, ineligibles, and collateral monitoring. The ideal candidate will also possess strong Agile delivery expertise and a proven track record of successful project execution using JIRA/Atlas.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Asset Based Lending collateral processes, including borrowing base workflows, ineligibles management, and collateral reporting. Lead and facilitate Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions and solution design workshops. Act as the Product Owner within an Agile team; create and manage user stories, epics, and product backlogs in Atlas JIRA. Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, QA, and other cross-functional teams to ensure business needs are accurately captured and delivered. Drive process improvements in ABL servicing through effective analysis and business process redesign. Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation including scope, schedules, status reports, and decision logs.
Manage end-to-end project lifecycle:
from initiation and planning through execution, testing, and delivery.
Required Qualifications:
3+ years of Asset Based Lending (ABL) experience , including direct involvement in: Collateral operations Borrowing base analysis Ineligibles determination and exception handling Collateral monitoring workflows 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner in Agile environments. Strong proficiency with JIRA and Agile methodologies (preferably Atlas JIRA). Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for stakeholder engagement and meeting facilitation.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with commercial lending or banking systems Background in process improvement initiatives or workflow automation in financial services Experience with Agile delivery tools beyond JIRA (e.g., Confluence, Rally)
