Role:
Are you experienced in OTC derivatives and meticulous when it comes to documentation? We’re looking for a Derivatives Confirmations Analyst to join our CIB Operations team. You’ll be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and verifying trade confirmations across all major asset classes — ensuring accuracy, minimizing risk, and supporting regulatory compliance in a high-impact area of the business. ________________________________________
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft and validate trade confirmations for: oCommodity, Credit, Equity, Rates, and FX derivatives
- Reduce operational and financial risk by: oIdentifying and resolving trade capture discrepancies oReconciling trades between front-office records and legal documentation oEnsuring confirmation of economic terms and fallback clauses
- Collaborate closely with: oFront-office teams, Legal, Compliance, and Regulatory stakeholders
- Support complex U.S. securities and OTC derivatives transactions
- Stay informed on market, tax, and regulatory developments via internal and ISDA working groups
- Partner with project teams to: oImprove systems and workflows oConduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) ________________________________________
What You Bring:
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (intermediate level)
- Deep understanding of derivative products and trade flows
- Direct experience drafting OTC derivative confirmations (required or best available)
Soft Skills:
- High attention to detail
- Clear and professional communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Bonus Qualifications:
- Experience with derivatives confirmation processing
- Background in capital markets operations
- Familiarity with ISDA documentation
