ANALYST, INSIGHTS – OVERVIEW

Elevate is looking for an individual to join our fast-growing Insights team in the sports and entertainment industry. This role will focus on supporting projects for Elevate’s clients focused on domestic and international sponsorship revenue maximization and valuation on behalf of both property and brand clients as well as supporting brand partnership measurement tracking and consulting. You will support project objectives and help structure problems, conduct industry research, conduct business analyses, develop presentations, and support project implementation. This role will cover a range of services across our business, including hospitality design, partnership sales, partnership valuation, and brand representation. The preference is for this position to be based in Elevate offices including Charlotte, New York, Santa Clara, and Nashville. The role will require the ability to travel, and work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Analyze complex, high-volume data sets to identify narrative trends and actionable insights
  • Build valuation models to inform revenue strategy for both team properties and brands
  • Support valuation development and execution, including historical data research, revenue modeling, content development, and communication materials
  • Support projects focused on helping clients with sponsorship valuation, performance, strategy, and revenue maximization
  • Aggregate, maintain, and report brand partnership exposure through broadcast, social, online news, and in-person channels
  • Develop and present recommendations to internal team members and external client partners
  • Build high quality visualizations that illustrate the stories underlying the data we collect
  • Conduct sports and entertainment industry research focused on (but not limited to) sponsorship, teams, venues, competitors, trends, client prospects, and current events
QUALIFICATIONS

    Preferred Education:

    Business Administration, Business Analytics, Data Analytics

      Analyst Level:

      Two (2)+ year(s) work experience in a management consulting, investment banking, private equity, corporate strategy or other relevant role at a leading organization is required.

      • Previous sports industry experience is a plus, but not required B. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
      • Effective people management skills, exceptional organizational skills, and ability to multi-task with concurrent projects and prioritize under pressure of deadlines
      • Ability to develop frameworks and project management tools to guide project approach, timelines, reporting, and decision-making
      • Strong research skills with the ability to translate data insights into stories
      • Proficient knowledge of current sports sponsorship landscape, technology, and trends
      • Ability to conduct rigorous data analysis resulting in high-quality models and presentations
      • Intellectual curiosity, creativity, analytical approach, attention to detail, and results-driven
      • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation and public-speaking experience
      • Power user of the MS Office suite, in particular MS Excel
      • Power user of the Google Drive suite, including Google Slides & Google Sheets
      • Experience with Tableau or other data visualization tools
