About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Strategy and Planning Consultant to join the Strategic Programs team within the Strategic Programs and Enterprise Change Management organization. Strategic Programs addresses pressing challenges facing Wells Fargo across its businesses, supporting functions, and 250,000 employees. Our thought leaders operate under the Chief Operating Office (COO) and specialize in complex problems that have wide-ranging impact across the bank. Often a stabilizing influence, we provide the central direction and framework to drive momentum across a broad set of stakeholders. We prioritize the needs for our CEO, COO, and CFO, resulting in a diverse set of high priority initiatives (aka “Programs”) for Wells Fargo. Examples of work include organizational design, operating model optimization, expense reduction, and regulatory remediation. In this role, you will: Drive and deliver results for high priority programs by working in project teams spanning businesses and support functions. Develop strategy to stand up programs (e.g., define problem, structure an approach) and create a successful path to delivery (e.g., define workstreams, milestones, and timing). Work alongside senior leaders as a strategic partner which will require navigating a highly matrixed environment. Provide executive-level communications to key stakeholders on progress, findings, and recommendations via succinct presentations and storytelling. Guide a team through ambiguous and complex situations, while serving as a coach/advisor to team members as part of their growth and development.
Required Qualifications, US:
7+ years of Strategy and Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education. .
Desired Qualifications:
Strategy and Planning experience in a consulting firm or internal strategy team, managing large initiatives in a complex environment. Experience partnering with senior-level executives across a large, matrixed organization. Ability to drive problem solving for complex questions (e.g., develop hypothesis, structure problem, drive analyses, and design solutions) Ability to build a story for executive-level communications based on progress and findings. Ability to lead a team across all organizational levels; partnering with business leaders to achieve key goals through flexibility, collaboration, influence, and adaptability. Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint skills), with a strong focus on storytelling through PowerPoint. Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand environment.
Job Expectations:
Position location: Charlotte, NC. Hybrid work model with 3 days in office and 2 days remote. No other locations will be considered. 10% travel required
