Wells Fargo is seeking a Markets Strategy & Planning Consultant in Corporate and Investment Banking as part of our CIB Strategy and Transformation team to help drive the overall strategic direction of the business.
In this role, you will:
Participate in developing strategic priorities and management of inter-dependencies
Assist and contribute integration with other strategic efforts across CIB and Wells Fargo
Identify technology requirements and coordination of technical resources
Review and analyze basic business, operational, technical assignments, or challenges that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternatives
Exercise independent judgment to guide medium risk deliverables
Present recommendations for resolving more complex situations and exercise independent judgment while developing expertise in the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
Provide strategic consulting services to client organization using knowledge and expertise
Collaborate with functional colleagues, internal partners and stakeholders to meet deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
Collaborate and consult closely with management of Finance, Human Resources, and Regional Services

Required Qualifications:

2+ years of Strategy and Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
1+ years of experience with a premier strategy consulting firm in a CIB strategy team

Desired Qualifications:

Knowledge and understanding of CIB lines of businesses, especially with Sales & Trading businesses (Equities, Credit, Structured Products, Foreign Exchange, Rates)
Demonstrated experience with consulting toolkit and broad range of analytical tools and problem-solving approaches
Strong client management and executive-level communication skills
Track record of demonstrating a high level of personal initiative, setting and achieving challenging goals, and demonstrating entrepreneurial leadership
Experience in Corporate and Investment Banking industry overall; experience with Sales & Trading businesses is a plus
MBA or an advanced business degree from a top-tier program
Experience analyzing revenue drivers, risk exposure, and market trends globally
Advanced technical skills in MS Office, such as Excel and PowerPoint

Job Expectations:

Ability to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays as needed or scheduled
Ability to work outside of regular business hours
Ability to travel up to 5% of the time
